Peach Crunch Cake

WARNING: If you're looking for a Weight Watchers friendly recipe you should look somewhere else on this site. I've posted lots of low point recipes, but this is not it. This is one of Aaron's favorites. And since he's working on a Saturday outdoors on the 14th straight day of triple-degree heat here in DFW I figured he'd appreciate having a yummy dessert tonight.

The basic recipe is below, but if you want to see it in all its glory check out the source at Bakerella's website.

Here's what you need:
24.5 oz jar of sliced peaches in light syrup
1 package yellow cake mix
1 stick butter (1/2 cup), cut into 16 pieces
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Here's what you do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Layer ingredients in a 13 X 9 dish, in order starting with the peaches.
Bake for about 40 minutes.
Serve warm or cold… with or without ice cream.

Couldn't be easier. Couldn't be yummier.

And, no, I'm not even posting how many Weight Watchers points are involved here.
